Position Summary

As a Sales Closer at Shoppyrex, you will play a pivotal role in our ecommerce company that specializes in selling problem-solving physical products through cash on delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential customers, who have shown interest in our products through our various advertising channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Your goal is to effectively guide them through the sales process, address any concerns or questions they may have, and ultimately close the sale. This role requires a strong combination of communication skills, product knowledge, and persuasive abilities.

The job is partly proactive, partly reactive.

Day to day, you’ll be working with and continuously Closing Sales on phone and improving our Order management systems

You’ll be accountable for these KPIs:

Delivery Rate: 75%+ of Customers Receive Their Product Ontime
Conversion Rate: The percentage of potential customers engaged by the Sales Closer who actually make a purchase. It reflects the efficiency of the sales process.
Speedy Bank Remittance
Average Order Value (AOV): The average amount spent by customers in a single transaction. A higher AOV indicates effective upselling and cross-selling.
Sales Targets Achieved: The percentage of assigned sales targets that the Sales Closer successfully meets or exceeds.
Lead Response Time: The average time taken by the Sales Closer to respond to customer inquiries or leads. Faster response times often lead to higher conversion rates.
Follow-up Rate: The percentage of leads that the Sales Closer follows up with after the initial contact. Effective follow-ups nurture potential sales.
Objection Handling Success Rate: The percentage of objections successfully addressed by the Sales Closer, leading to a positive outcome.
Churn Rate: The percentage of customers who initially showed interest but did not complete a purchase. A low churn rate indicates strong closing skills.
Upsell/Cross-sell Rate: The percentage of customers who accept upsell or cross-sell offers presented by the Sales Closer.
Deal Closure Time: The average time taken from the initial customer contact to closing the deal. Shorter closure times often signify efficient sales processes.
Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Score: The score reflecting customer satisfaction with the Sales Closer's interactions and the overall buying experience.
Repeat Customer Rate: The percentage of customers who make a second purchase after their initial one, indicating satisfaction and successful relationship building.
Return Rate: The percentage of customers who return products post-purchase. A low return rate indicates effective product understanding and matching.
Time Spent per Interaction: The average time the Sales Closer spends engaging with a potential customer. Balancing efficiency and thoroughness is crucial.
Pipeline Value: The total value of potential deals the Sales Closer is actively working on at any given time.
Sales Collateral Utilization: The frequency and effectiveness of using sales collateral (presentations, videos, documents) to enhance interactions and understanding.

(We’ll explain the KPIs to you if you don’t understand what it’s about) Simply put, when our customers order and collect their product everyone wins.

Excited and experienced to Close Sales on the phone, social media, email, and chat (think high-tier sales closing center experience)

The capacity to work independently and collaboratively without compromising quality or accuracy.

NOTE: This position is FULL-TIME. Meaning you work from our office in Accra.

Qualifications:

Required:

Experience communicating with upwards of 50+ customers per day online (email, social media, chat and on the phone)
Resilience and the ability to handle objections and rejection positively
Has a personal computer and a Good smartphone
Must be able to hit set targets and deliver under pressure: Delivering your task even under pressure without frowning, getting angry unnecessarily or passing your emotions(Anger e.t.c) to our customers

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

You have a good grasp of how to use Google Drive, Email, Microsoft Office Suite (Words, Excel & PowerPoint), Zoom/Skype & Facebook (in general)

Monitoring and Managing Email Account for getting orders
Engage and Build Rapport: Reach out to potential customers who have expressed interest in our products through social media advertising. Initiate conversations, build rapport, and establish a positive relationship with customers. Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor the sales approach accordingly.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, their features, benefits, and how they address customer problems. Clearly and confidently articulate the value proposition of our products to potential customers.
Effective Communication: Communicate with potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and chat platforms. Listen actively to customer inquiries, address their concerns, and provide accurate information. Present information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to maintain the customer's interest.
Customized Sales Approach: Analyze customer preferences and needs to tailor your sales approach for each interaction. Highlight how our products can specifically solve the problems or challenges the customer is facing.
Overcome Objections: Identify potential objections or hesitations from customers and proactively address them with well-prepared responses. Use objection-handling techniques to turn objections into opportunities for closing the sale.
Closing Techniques: Employ effective closing techniques to encourage potential customers to make a purchase decision. Create a sense of urgency and excitement around the product to prompt immediate action.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, objections, and outcomes. Document customer feedback and insights to contribute to continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to stay informed about ongoing campaigns and promotions. Provide valuable feedback from customer interactions to enhance marketing strategies.
Google Spreadsheet Management: Efficiently update and maintain Google spreadsheets to record customer interactions, responses, and outcomes. Ensure accurate data entry and organization for easy access and reference.
Follow-Up and Nurturing: Initiate follow-up communication with potential customers who have shown interest but haven't made a purchase. Implement nurturing strategies to keep leads engaged and interested in our products over time.
Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend related products that could complement the customer's chosen item. Skillfully introduce higher-tier products or upgrades to potentially increase the purchase value.
Timely Remittance
Feedback Collection: Actively seek feedback from customers on their shopping experience, product satisfaction, and any suggestions for improvement. Communicate collected feedback to relevant departments for continuous enhancement.
Adapt to Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Provide insights to the team about shifting market demands.
Manage Sales Pipeline: Organize and manage a structured sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing of deals. Prioritize leads based on their likelihood to convert into sales.
Handle Payment Queries: Assist customers with questions related to payment methods, pricing, and any concerns regarding cash on delivery. Provide clarity on payment processes to alleviate customer concerns.
Maintain Customer Confidentiality: Handle customer information with discretion and adhere to privacy policies and data protection regulations.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order values, and successful closures. Use data to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
Continual Learning: Participate in training sessions to deepen product knowledge, improve sales techniques, and stay updated on company offerings.
Stay Up-to-Date on Policies: Stay informed about the company's policies, including return and exchange policies, to accurately address customer inquiries.
Contribute to Content Creation: Share customer insights and common questions to contribute to content creation, such as FAQs and product guides.
Manage Workload and Prioritize: Effectively manage time and workload to ensure timely follow-ups and responses to customer inquiries. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and potential impact on sales.
Handle Challenging Situations: Manage difficult or irate customers with professionalism and patience, aiming to find solutions that align with company policies.
Contribute to Sales Strategies: Share insights and observations to contribute to the development of sales strategies and campaigns.
Identify Ideal Customer Profiles: Analyze customer interactions to identify characteristics of ideal customers and contribute to refining customer targeting.
Participate in Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings to share successes, challenges, and collaborative ideas.
Customer Feedback Loop: Act as a feedback conduit between customers and the product development/marketing teams, sharing insights and suggestions.
Abandoned Cart Recovery: Reach out to customers who abandoned their shopping carts and attempt to re-engage and close the sale. Often, customers abandon their carts due to distractions or uncertainties. Following up with personalized messages can help address concerns and encourage them to complete their purchase.
Customer Retention Strategies: Develop strategies to retain existing customers by offering exclusive deals, loyalty programs, or personalized recommendations. Repeat customers are a valuable asset to any ecommerce business. Sales Closers can play a role in fostering customer loyalty and increasing customer lifetime value.
Upskilling and Training: Stay updated on new product launches, features, and sales techniques through ongoing training. The ecommerce landscape evolves rapidly. Regular training ensures Sales Closers are equipped with the latest information and skills to engage customers effectively.
Market Research: Keep an eye on competitor offerings, pricing, and customer engagement strategies to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
Multichannel Engagement: Engage with customers across various communication channels, including email, chat, social media, and phone. Modern customers expect seamless communication across their preferred channels. Sales Closers need to be proficient in adapting their communication style to each platform.
A/B Testing and Experimentation: Collaborate with the marketing team to run A/B tests on different sales approaches, messages, or strategies to identify the most effective ones.
Crisis Management: Handle situations such as product recalls, shipping delays, or unexpected issues with transparency and professionalism. Ecommerce operations can encounter unexpected challenges. A Sales Closer's ability to manage crises gracefully preserves customer satisfaction and trust.
Monthly Report of each staff ( Amount Spent, Customer-Complains, Meeting Minute, Innovation, Financial Report)
